Sempalit is a small village in Raub, Pahang, Malaysia.
On the top of the main door of a village house reads 颖川 (yǐng chuān), to be read from right to left, traditional Chinese writing, which meant the people that are living in there carries the family name Chen or 陈. In Chinese this is called 堂號.
颖川 is origins of the Chen family and can be traced back to 230 BC. In this modern time, it is called Yuzhou, a county-level city in the central part of Henan province.
